The overall dramatic stakes of this scene are somewhat undermined by that flash-forward in the van at the beginning of Season 4: Part 1, since we know that the whole Byrde family will be back together for that scene.

The Byrde family are forced to reckon with Omar Navarro and his wishes, no matter how impossible they seem. The final season is broken into two parts.
