The thing that really adds value, though, is that the vagabond gives you the chance to look at his deck after dueling him. His challenges are a little bit better tuned, and the XP gains are still wonderful. With the recent changes to the vagabond I see him as a really valuable resource in the game. If you don’t know his reputation just do a quick google search, he has challenges that make it hard to win but used super op decks that seemed to always get the best draws. I want to throw a special shout out to one particular feature that really deserves recognition: the vagabond. You can definitely pay for packs, and I have honestly considered it (because I legitimately want to support this app, not actually because I need the cards) but the nice thing is I don’t feel like I have to in order to play competitively. This app gives you so many options to get competitive fairly quickly. I played Hearthstone but it felt like such a horrible grind just to get cards that were remotely useful. Why konami? It doesn’t make any sense with how they’re managing the game. no more ace cards from characters, no cyber dragon for Zane (he’s in the game) and no synchro cards for Yusei when you unlock him(you got to buy stardust dragon or use his skill) his deck is total garbage and not even worth playing 5Ds because all the characters are like that. and honestly, they want this game to not be fun anymore. The gem system is not even worth it after level 30 because Konami wants to hold back on distributing gems.

The 5D’s update is a massive slap in the face to faithful players and doesn’t promise you anything rewarding, just for you to spend more money on this game monthly with their boxes.
I’ve been playin duel links daily for over a year now (it’s my cup of coffee and timewaster game when I’m not doing anything) and this game has gone downhill for me.
